Hey guys!! =)) This post is all about my experience in a camp that I joined with Grace Gospel Church, a church that I go to. It was held in Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas. We were there for 6 days and 5 nights. from March 25-30. It was an amazing experience for everyone who joined the camp.
This is where we stayed in. It's just simple kind of Condotel. It was really neat, and the service was really nice.
My roommates! They were really fun to be with throughout the whole camp. They made it hard t sleep at night since they're so noisy, but still really great roommates.
On the first day of camp we given a chance to pick a workshop to join. I chose the acting workshop. It was really fun. Our teacher was Mr. Francis Matheu. He is a very good teacher and actor, since he was in the play 'The Choice' and many more. He taught us to not break character while on stage, Play your part right and most importantly to Walk. Freeze. EXPLODE. It's his way of making our energy levels rise so we can give our best effort in anything we do.
This is the singing workshop, for people with golden voices. I wanted to join this workshop but I remembered that I can't sing. I didn't want to look like a fool in front of many people.
This is the crafts workshop. I'm not an artistic person so I really didn't take interest in this workshop but still, the people who joined this were really creative. I really wish I was as creative as them.
During camp we also had team building activities,I was in the green team. My teammates were the best! They always cheered on each other and our team has something that other teams don't have.. Sportsmanship!! (Kidding! :D) All the teams were great sports. Also my teammates are crazy people.
We also had to speakers in our camp Pastor Vince Burke & Pastor Andy Lim. They were both great speakers in our camp. They really helped us draw closer to God and focus more on God even if there are many distractions around us.
During Our testimony night many people have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Which I'm really thankful for because many people have opened their hearts to God on that night.
Also, many people have rededicated their lives to the Lord. And some people also entered full time ministry to help the church with spreading the word of God to others.
The last day of camp. The day that everyone dreaded everyone was having so much have fun making new friends and all but it has to end sooner or later. The program was fun, the decorations were made by the crafts workshop, they did such an awesome job.
The play that we did was entitled 'The Prodigal Son' it is about a son who spends his whole inheritance on wild living and goes back home and begs his father for forgiveness. The play was a comedy though the people said it was really entertaining and funny, so we were really proud of ourselves.
They also awarded people based on different categories like Mr. & Ms. Funny Bone, Mr. & Ms. MVP and Mr. & Ms. Crush ng Bayan. Mr. Funny Bone was Pastor Vince Burke since he kept on telling jokes in every message that he told. Ms. Funny Bone was my friend and acting workshop classmate Alyssa Dy since she's very funny and crazy.
Mr. MVP was Pierrick Tan and Ms. MVP was Abi Cheng. Since they were the most competitive and athletic people at camp.
Mr. Crush ng Bayan was Marc Ip. Ms. Crush ng Bayan was Abigail Gaddi (me). People in camp thought that it would be funny to put us together in this category. Guys, believe me I didn't want to put this part on here but my friends said I should and I had no choice but to put it. Anyway, despite that part of our last day everything was fun. Even the ride back to manila was full of laughs.
Hope you guys liked it. =) I had a really great time in this camp. It was the bomb!! =D Thanks for reading it guys. Follow me on twitter!
